The Myth of the "Bargain Ragdoll"
Scam Alert!:
Beware of any breeders offering Ragdoll kittens without papers.
Papers guarantee that the kitten you are receiving has been registered
with CFA and/or TICA and is guaranteed to be a full-breed Ragdoll.
If something seems too good to be true, it most likely is. For example, the cat below is beautiful, right? Does she look like a Ragdoll? No, she does not. However, when she was offered for sale as a "Discount Ragdoll" kitten, her current owner snapped her up. She is loved, spoiled and beautiful, but she is most definitely not a Ragdoll. She is a gorgeous Siamese. Please be aware when someone offers a Ragdoll without papers, you probably won't be getting a pedigree Ragdoll kitten.
